Henningson Loaned to Binghamton
HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL - The Chicago Express, proud member of the ECHL and proud affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, announced that former Quinnipiac defenseman Dan Henningson has been loaned to the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.
Henningson, 28, has been previously called up to the AHL two other times this season. He played one game with the Rockford IceHogs on January 6, and also appeared in five games with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins from December 6 through December 21, earning an assist, two PIM, and a +2 rating. With Chicago, Henningson has played 27 games, scoring a goal and adding two assists along with 10 PIM.
The third-year pro made his AHL debut with the Lake Erie Monsters at the tail end of the 2008-09 season, after a four-year career at Quinnipiac. In total, Henningson has played 16 games in the American Hockey League, picking up two assists and six PIM.
