Binghamton Releases Vetri

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have released former Quinnipiac goaltender Peter Vetri from his professional try-out contract.

Vetri, 25, played a pair of games this season with the Federal Hockey League's Danbury Whalers where he posted a 2-0-0 record with 0.50 goals-against average and .981 save percentage.

The Windham, N.H. native dressed as back-up goaltender last night as the B-Sens hosted the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, but did not play.
