Wheeling Signs Hansen
The Wheeling Nailers of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) on Tuesday signed Quinnipiac defenseman Zach Hansen.
In three seasons with the Bobcats, Hansen accumulated 67 points (14g-53a) in 146 games.
Hansen joins recent acquisitions Brandon DeFazio (2g-2a), a former Clarkson standout; Chris Kushneriuk (2g-1a); and defenseman Channing Boe.
''We'll continue to look for guys that can make us a better hockey club,'' said Wheeling coach Stan Drulia.
