Marshall Returns to Wheeling

WHEELING, WV - The Wheeling Nailers announced Tuesday that former Quinnipiac forward David Marshall has been returned on loan from the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League. Marshall is expected to be in the lineup tonight when Nailers take on the Cyclones at US Bank Arena in Cincinnati.

Marshall has appeared in 16 games this season with the Nailers posting 11 points (7g, 4a). Marshall returns to Wheeling after being loaned to the Rochester Americans, and then the Worcester Sharks. The 25-year old native of Buffalo, MN, scored two goals in nine games with Rochester, while posting a goal and an assist in 12 games with Worcester.

Prior to Wheeling he was a four year starter at Quinnipiac University, while splitting time with the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL) and the Charlotte Checkers (ECHL) last season.
