Bobcats Ready to Kickstart Season

HAMDEN — Seven days ago, the
Quinnipiac men’s hockey team had yet to conduct its first
official practice of the new season.
Tonight, the Bobcats open the season with the first game of a
two-game set at Ohio State.
How’s that for baptism by fire?
Quinnipiac’s abbreviated training camp consisted of its
first practice Saturday, an exhibition game against an overmatched
college from Nova Scotia a day later, then a couple more practices
before the team flew to Columbus, Ohio, on Thursday.
