Lampe Called by Syracuse
SYRACUSE, NY - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have recalled left wing Eric Lampe, a former Quinnipiac standout, from Elmira.
Lampe, 24, has appeared in two games with the Crunch this season and registered an assist in his AHL debut on December 18 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. In addition, he has skated in 19 games with Elmira this year, collecting 16 points (8g, 8a) and two penalty minutes. He was recently selected to represent Elmira at the 2011 ECHL All-Star Classic. A native of Madison, Wisconsin, Lampe appeared in 150 games over four seasons with Quinnipiac (ECAC) from 2006-10, recording 102 points (47g, 55a) and 278 penalty minutes. He was signed by the Crunch to an American Hockey League contract on August 9, 2010.
