Crunch Return Lampe to Elmira

The Elmira Jackals announced Monday that they have been assigned former Quinnipiac forward Eric Lampe by their AHL affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch.

Lampe, who has been with the Jackals for the majority of his rookie season, was recalled by the Crunch on Dec. 18 for his first AHL action. In two games with Syracuse this past week, he recorded one assist. The rookie from Madison, Wisconsin has seven goals and seven assists for 14 points in 16 games with the Jackals. Lampe collected three goals with the Florida Everblades against the Jackals in a playoff series last season after finishing his eligibility at Quinnipiac.
