Team Notes: Quinnipiac Hosts Brown for Senior Night, Yale on NESN

The Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team will host Brown University and nationally-ranked #5 Yale University this weekend in the Bobcats' final regular-season ECAC Hockey series of the 2009-10 season. The Bobcats will host Brown on Friday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. at the TD Bank Sports Center. Quinnipiac enters the weekend with a record of 15-15-2 overall and 9-11-0 in ECAC Hockey. Brown is currently 8-15-4 overall and 6-10-4 in league play. On Saturday, Quinnipiac's game against Yale will be broadcast live on the New England Sports Network (NESN) at 7:37 p.m., with the pregame show slated for a 7 p.m. start. Following the game, the Heroes Hat will be awarded to the winning team. Yale is currently in first place in the ECAC Hockey standings with an overall record of 18-6-3 and 14-4-2 in ECAC Hockey play.

On The Air
Quinnipiac's game on Saturday, Feb. 27 will be aired live on the New England Sports Network (NESN) at 7:37 p.m. with the pregame show airing at 7 p.m. Bill Schweizer will have the play-by-play and will be joined along side by Rich Coppola with the color commentary. Bill Mecca will have the sideline report. NESN is available on DirecTV on Channel 628.

For Friday's game against Brown, Bill Schweizer will have the play-by-play for both games this weekend while Todd Carroll will have the color commentary. That game will be available on AM 1220 WQUN or by visiting www.QuinnipiacBobcats.com. On Saturday, the Bobcats' match-up against Yale will be featured on www.QuinnipiacBobcats.com through teamline.cc.
