Student-athletes are eligible for the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team if they post a cumulative grade-point average of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. Of the 19 Quinnipiac student-athletes named, four were honored for the third straight year, while five were honored for the second straight year. The remaining student-athletes are all first-time honorees.
Senior captain Jean-Marc Beaudoin (St. Paul, Alberta) headed the list of third-time honorees, followed by Sean Coughlin (Winthrop, Mass.), Zach Hansen (White Bear Lake, Minn.) and Sami Liimatainen (Riverside, Ill.). Yuri Bouharevich (Montreal, Quebec), who carries the highest GPA of all sophomore student-athletes at Quinnipiac, Kevin Bui (Edmonton, Alberta), Dan Clarke (Belleville, Ontario), Mike Glaicar (Kamloops, British Columbia) and Pat McGann (Evergreen Park, Ill) were all honored for the second straight year. Sophomore Spencer Heichman (Yorba Linda, Calif.) and freshmen Ben Arnt (Oakdale, Minn.), Zach Davies (Smithers, British Columbia), Mike Dalhuisen (Nymegen, Holland), Eric Hartzell (White Bear Lake, Minn.), Jeremy Langlois (Tempe, Ariz.), Zack Currie (Victoria, British Columbia), Bobby Tyson (The Woodlands, Texas), Loren Barron (Glendora, Calif.) and Reese Rolheiser (Edmonton, Alberta) round out the list.

Quinnipiac Well-Represented on All-Academic Team
The Quinnipiac men's ice hockey had 19 student-athletes named
to the 2009-10 ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team, as announced by the
league office on Tuesday, June 23. The 19 Bobcats named to the team
are the most in Quinnipiac's history and the second most in ECAC
Hockey this season, trailing Brown with 28.
