Over the past year, Brett Dickinson quietly emerged as one of
Quinnipiac’s most reliable players — a defensive
defenseman, punishing hitter and stalwart on the penalty kill.

Dickinson’s NCAA eligibility officially expired Monday. His
final games were against St. Cloud State over the weekend.
Dickinson enrolled as full-time student in a community college in
January, 2005 while playing midget-level hockey for a club team in
New Jersey, unknowingly starting the clock on his college
eligibility.
