Lake Erie Summons Marshall

CHARLOTTE, NC—Charlotte Checkers general manager and head coach Derek Wilkinson announced that former Quinnipiac forward David Marshall was recalled to the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League.

Marshall is currently on a four-game point streak (4g, 3a) and notched a hat trick in Thursday’s 5-4 win over Gwinnett. The 25-year-old winger has 19 goals and eight assists in 48 games this season, his first as a professional. He began the season in Lake Erie, where he tallied two goals and an assist in 14 games before being re-assigned to Charlotte.
