Team Notes: Quinnipiac Makes Trek to North Country

The Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey heads to the North Country this weekend to take on St. Lawrence and Clarkson. The Bobcats and Saints hit the ice at Appleton Arena in Canton, N.Y. on Friday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. before heading over to Clarkson's Cheel Arena on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 4 p.m. Quinnipiac is coming off a 2-0 shutout against Colgate on Saturday, Feb. 6 that snapped an eight-game winless streak to help them improve to 14-12-2 overall and 8-8-0 in ECAC Hockey, good for seventh place. St. Lawrence sits in fourth place, just three points ahead of the Bobcats, with a league mark of 8-5-3 and an overall record of 14-10-5. Clarkson is 5-20-3 overall, including a 1-13-2 record in league play.

All-Time Against St. Lawrence University
Quinnipiac is 4-7-2 in 13 meetings all-time against St. Lawrence, including a 5-2 win against the Saints earlier this season at the TD Bank Sports Center in Hamden, Conn. Quinnipiac is 1-5-1 all-time at Appleton Arena, with its first win on SLU's home ice coming last season. The Bobcats lost twice in the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals in Canton last season.
