It wasn’t easy for Quinnipiac goalie Dan Clarke to fall asleep following the Bobcats’ 6-3 loss to Dartmouth on Saturday.

And it didn’t get any easier for Clarke, even after playing a major role in Quinnipiac’s ECAC first-round series-clinching 2-1 win Sunday. The Bobcats received a much-needed day off Monday after three physically and mentally demanding games in three days, and since it’s spring break week, Clarke and his teammates have ample time to catch up on their rest.

“It’s hard to sleep with all the adrenaline from the game still pumping through you,” Clarke said Monday. “This was only the second time I’ve ever played three games in three nights. It’s a lot of drama.”
