HAMDEN — It’s not the result of a lack of talent or
effort or a voodoo curse — though it may seem that way. And
men’s hockey coach Rand Pecknold isn’t calling a sports
psychologist into the Quinnipiac locker room just yet.
But finding the back of the net has become an issue, and
it’s costing the Bobcats valuable points in the ECAC Hockey
standings.
Quinnipiac (13-11-2, 7-7) has lost seven straight conference games
and is approaching two months since its last win. The Bobcats will
look to end that skid during a busy ECAC Hockey weekend in Greater
New Haven.
