Team Notes: Quinnipiac Faces Robert Morris

The Quinnipiac University men’s ice hockey team will host Robert Morris University on Friday, Jan. 23 and Saturday, Jan.24 at the TD Banknorth Sports Center in Hamden, Conn. Quinnipiac boasts a 12-8-2 record following a two-game series split with Niagara last weekend. Robert Morris comes into this weekend at 4-11-4 overall.

All-Time Against Robert Morris
Quinnipiac holds the advantage in the all-time series against the Colonials having won six of the eight meetings between the two teams dating back to the 2004-05 season. All six of the Bobcats’ wins have come in their last six meetings. This weekend’s games will mark the first time that Robert Morris will visit the TD Banknorth Sports Center. Quinnipiac last host Robert Morris at the Northford Ice Pavilion on Oct. 13-14, 2006 with the Bobcats taking both games of the series, 3-1 and 5-1.

Record Breaker
David Marshall’s 15-game scoring streak is the longest in Quinnipiac’s Division I history, passing Reid Cashman’s 14-game streak during the 2005-06 season.
