Leitch Assigned to Florida

ESTERO, FL -- Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush along with head coach Malcolm Cameron announced today that former Quinnipiac forward Bryan Leitch has been assigned by the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Bryan Leitch is in his first professional season. The six-foot-three, 190-pound left winger from Coquitlam, British Columbia joins the Florida Everblades after beginning the season with the Cincinnati Cyclones and the Alaska Aces. While with Cincinnati Leitch tallied two goals and added five helpers in 17 games. Bryan Leitch only appeared in four games with the Aces, but matched his goal output from the Cyclones.

Cameron said the Everblades tried to sign Leitch over the summer but he ultimately elected to go to Milwuakee.

“I recruited him this summer quite heavily and if he wouldn’t have signed with Milwaukee we probably would have gotten him in the first place,” Cameron said. “He’s a good kid and we’re actually quite excited to have gotten him.”
