Quinnipiac’s media guide calls senior forward Bryan Leitch one of most prolific goal scorers in school history. It’s his ability to dish the puck, however, that’s gaining him attention this season.

Through the weekend, Leitch led Division 1 in scoring with 37 points, five ahead of Air Force’s Jacques Lamoureux. Twenty-eight of those 37 points have come on assists, including four in Friday’s 6-4 win over Niagara. So good have his passing skills been, he was recently named a Hobey Baker Award candidate.

Leitch has always had the ability to score. He scored 14 his freshman year, 12 as a sophomore and 15 as a junior, and is currently 13th on the Bobcats’ career goals list, with the potential to move into the top 10.
