Team Notes: Quinnipiac Travels to Colgate, Cornell

The top three teams in ECAC Hockey square off this weekend when No. 13/13 Quinnipiac University, first place in the league standings, takes on Colgate University (second place) on Friday, Nov. 20 and No. 5/5 Cornell University (third place) on Saturday, Nov. 21. Both games are slated for a 7 p.m. start. Quinnipiac enters the game at 8-1-0 overall and 4-0-0 in ECAC Hockey, while Colgate stands at 5-2-4 overall and 3-0-1 in league play. Cornell is 4-1-0 overall and 3-1-0 in ECAC Hockey.

Scouting Colgate University
Colgate is currently 5-2-4 overall and 3-0-1 in ECAC Hockey and
are currently riding a six-game unbeaten streak (4-0-2), the second
longest in the country. The Raiders have a trio of players who have
reached the double-digit scoring mark, led by Austin Smith with
seven goals and eight assists for a team-high 15 points. David
McIntyre checks in with 13 points, including a team-high 11 assists
and two goals. Brian Day is currently tied with Smith for the team
lead with seven goals, while also adding three assists for 10
points. Through 11 games, 14 different Colgate players have scored
a goal, including eight with multiple goals. In goal, Charles Long
has logged 61% of the minutes in net for the Raiders, posting a
4-1-2 record as well as a .912 save percentage and a 2.75
goals-against average. Colgate is ranked 17th nationally in scoring
offense with 36 goals in 11 games for a 3.27 per game clip.
