McDonald Featured in Athletics Administration
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac University Director of
Athletics Jack McDonald was recently featured in the latest edition
of Athletics Administration, the official publication of the
National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics. McDonald
is currently serving as the president of NCAA Division I-AAA.
In the article, McDonald discusses several topics that various
institutions at the NCAA Division I-AAA level are faced with today.
In addition, McDonald discusses the Academic Progress Rate (APR)
and expansion of NCAA postseason basketball.
McDonald is currently in his 19th year as a director of athletics,
including five years at University of Denver and the past 14 years
at Quinnipiac. Since coming to Quinnipiac, McDonald oversaw the
elevation of the University to Division I membership.
