Team Notes: Quinnipiac Hosts Harvard Live on NESN

The Quinnipiac University men’s ice hockey team hosts Harvard University on Friday, Jan. 2, 2009 at the TD Banknorth Sports Center in Hamden, Conn. The game will be featured live on the New England Sports Network (NESN) with the puck scheduled to drop at 7 p.m. The Bobcats are coming off a pair of victories over Merrimack, 4-3 in overtime on Monday, Dec. 29, and nationally ranked #11 Air Force, 4-2 on Dec. 30, as they won the 16th Annual Toyota UConn Hockey Classic. Quinnipiac enters Friday night’s game with an overall record of 9-6-1 after winning seven of their last 10 games, while they also post a 4-3-1 ECAC Hockey mark. Harvard is currently 4-8-2 overall and 4-3-2 in ECAC Hockey.

Don Boyle will have the play-by-play for tonight’s game, joined alongside by Chris Kotsopoulos with the color analysis. All Quinnipiac men’s ice hockey home games will be available on the Bobcats Radio Network on flagship WQUN 1220 AM (Hamden/New Haven), ESPN Radio 1410 (Hartford), WLIS 1420 AM (Old Saybrook), WMRD 1150 AM (Middletown) and www.quinnipiacbobcats.com.

New England Sports Network - NESN
Friday night’s game will be televised live on the New England Sports Network (NESN) at 7 p.m. from the TD Banknorth Sports Center in Hamden, Conn. The “Voice of the Bobcats” Bill Schweizer will have the play-by-play, joined by Rich Coppola with the color commentary. Bill Mecca will provide the sideline report.
