Team Notes: Quinnipiac Faces St. Lawrence

The Quinnipiac men’s ice hockey team will finish their
North Country swing on Saturday, Nov. 22 when they lace ‘em
up against St. Lawrence University in an ECAC Hockey match-up at
Appleton Arena in Canton, N.Y. The Bobcats are winners of their
last three games - all against ECAC Hockey schools - and hold an
overall record of 5-4-1 including a 3-2-1 ECAC Hockey ledger. St.
Lawrence will host the Bobcats with a record of 4-5-1 overall and
1-3-1 in league play. The Bobcats and the Saints are set to drop
the puck at 4 p.m.

Don Boyle will have the play-by-play for Saturday night’s
game, joined alongside by Chris Kotsopoulos with the color
analysis. All Quinnipiac men’s ice hockey home games will be
available on the Bobcats Sports Network on flagship WQUN 1220 AM

All-Time Against St. Lawrence
Quinnipiac is 2-4-2 all-time against St. Lawrence and have never
won a game (0-3-1) in four tries at Appleton Arena. Quinnipiac and
SLU skated to a 1-1 tie in Hamden, Conn. last season before the
Saints up-ended Quinnipiac 4-1 in Canton. Quinnipiac’s last
win over St. Lawrence came in the ECAC Hockey Tournament Semifinals
on March 16, 2007 when the Bobcats knocked off the Saints, 4-0, to
advance to the ECAC Hockey Tournament Finals in just their second
year in the league.
