Goalie Depth Proves Valuable for Bobcats

Carrying four goaltenders on a college hockey roster is usually a little excessive. In fact, Quinnipiac coach Rand Pecknold was planning to cut back to three for next season when one of his seniors graduates this spring.

This weekend, Pecknold was happy to have the added depth.

Peter Vetri, a junior transfer from UMass-Lowell who had been splitting time with junior goalie Bud Fisher, was dismissed from the team by Pecknold for academic reasons.
