Bobcats Seek Winning Formula

HAMDEN — Experience isn’t an issue for the Quinnipiac
men’s hockey team. The Bobcats are brimming with
upperclassmen. Fourteen, to be exact. All play regular shifts.
Yet through the first three games, the lack of competitiveness
from the older players frustrated Quinnipiac coach Rand
Pecknold.
“I was very disappointed with them,” Pecknold said.
“In those three games and our exhibition game, I thought we
played very poorly, even though we ended up winning two of
them.”
