Forgive Dan Travis if it wasn't an anniversary he rushed out to celebrate.

It was a little over a year ago that the Quinnipiac College forward and Wilton native crashed violently into the boards during a game at Princeton. The result was a broken kneecap, a painful injury that ended a promising junior season and lingered well into his senior one.

As the calendar turns to February and conference races heat up, Travis is beginning to flash his old form. He has five goals and three assists in his last eight games after managing just six points in his first 14 games.
