Princeton Partners with HP4K in Goals for Good Charitable Competition
PRINCETON, N.J. - Princeton hockey announces its partnership with Goals for Good, a charitable competition between all 12 ECAC Hockey members.
Princeton Hockey is partnered with the HP4K, an organization founded by former Princeton hockey player Dustin Sproat '06. A number of Princeton alums are involved including: Jeff Halpern '99, George Parros '03, Darroll Powe '07 and Mike Moore '08.
Fans can donate a dollar amount per goal that Princeton scores over the course of an ECAC Hockey weekend series or throughout the season. There is also an additional option for donating an amount per win. The money that the teams raise through their goals and wins will go directly to their partnering charity.
About HP4K
Officially launched in Cincinnati, Ohio in the spring of 2009,
HP4K was originally conceptualized by a group of ten pro hockey
players (many of them teammates at Princeton University).
HP4K’s mission is to harness the leadership, enthusiasm and
public goodwill of the most exceptional people playing professional
hockey, and use it to positively impact the lives of local
children. HP4K also acts as a forum to foster the personal growth
and development of its members.
About Goals for Good
Goals For Good will be a charitable competition, as fans of
each program are asked to pledge a dollar amount to the team's
charity per goal or win. with various bonuses for the top
performing teams and their communities, Goals For Good hopes to
bring an increased amount of aid and awareness to our charities
this season.
