Ritchie Agrees to Terms with Idaho

BOISE, Idaho - Head coach and director of hockey operations Hardy Sauter announced Thursday that the Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with former Princeton defenseman Cam Ritchie.

Ritchie skated for the Victoria Salmon Kings last season after wrapping up his college eligibility at Princeton. He had two goals and two assists in nine games with Victoria, his first professional experience. The 24-year-old blue-liner had five goals and 26 assists in his four seasons at Princeton, including a career-best 12 points last season as a senior. He was a college teammate of former Steelhead Brandan Kushniruk and, like Kushniruk, majored in engineering at the prestigious Ivy League school.
