Princeton Announces Captains for 2011-12
PRINCETON, N.J. - Bob Prier, head coach of the Princeton men's hockey team, has announced the captains for the 2011-12 season.
Wearing the C will be senior Marc Hagel. He will be assisted by senior Brodie Zuk, senior Derrick Pallis and junior Michael Sdao.
Hagel has appeared in 60 games as a Tiger, missing most of last season because of injuries. He has scored 10 goals and six assists for 16 points.
Pallis has the most points on the team, with 42 on 14 goals and 28 assists, playing in 96 career games. Zuk has three goals and 18 assists for 21 points in 63 games. In 57 games, Sdao has scored eight goals and 11 assists for 19 points.
They cement their names among a select group representing Princeton with the letter sweater, joining the likes of Hobey Baker, Jeff Halpern, George Parros and Darroll Powe.
Princeton opens the season this Friday, Oct. 28 at the Ivy Shootout at Dartmouth, facing Yale at 4 p.m.
