Pizza Patrons Get a Piece of Parros

HUNTINGTON BEACH – The man in black with the famous burly mustache was in his element Thursday, eagerly greeting everyone who came up to him.
All of them wanted a little piece of this popular Ducks player: a handshake, a hug, a photo or anything kind of moment. And if they weren't quite willing to leave their tables, George Parros went to each of them to at least share a word and a smile.
No current player is more visible in the community than easygoing enforcer who does hockey’s toughest job. On Thursday, Parros was helping draw in Ducks fans and other customers to Oggi’s Pizza for a fun event featuring fire fighters from Anaheim and Huntington Beach who served pies and beers to help raise money for the club’s charitable foundation.
