Halpern Eager to Get Back in Habs Lineup

Jeff Halpern says his goal is to play for a Stanley Cup winner.
But his first priority is to play on as team that reaches the second round of the playoffs.
“I’ve never gotten past the first round,” said the 34-year-old Halpern, who will play his first playoff game in a Canadiens uniform Thursday night when Montreal meets the Boston Bruins in Game 4 of their best-of-seven Eastern Conference quarterfinal series (7 p.m., CBC, RDS).
