Fedun Vows to ‘Come Back Stronger than Ever’

EDMONTON — Sometime after the orthopedic specialist had pieced together his shattered right femur, Taylor Fedun watched a replay of the shudder-inducing play that ended his season with the Edmonton Oilers.
“When I was living it, I thought it felt a lot worse,” the defenceman said from a wheelchair in the teams’ locker-room on Sunday.
“When I watched it, I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think it looked quite as bad.”
