Princeton Sends Three to NHL Prospects/Development Camps

PRINCETON - A trio of Princetonians will be attending NHL Prospect Development Camps this summer. Recent graduates Taylor Fedun and Mike Kramer, along with rising sophomore Sean Bonar are all having the chance to compete at a pro camp with other top prospects.

Bonar is attending the Philadelphia Flyers' camp, which got underway on Wednesday. It is his second prospect camp as he attended the Los Angeles Kings' camp last summer prior to beginning his collegiate career. As a freshman at Princeton last season, Bonar was 8-6-1 overall in 15 starts. He posted a 2.20 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage.

Fedun and Kramer both graduated this June. Fedun graduated as Princeton's second all-time leading scorer among defenseman and was a first-team All-ECAC and second-team All-America as a senior. He signed with the Edmonton Oilers after his senior season completed and he is at his first prospect camp with the club this week. He attended Vancouver's camp last summer.

Kramer was Princeton's leading active scorer when he graduated as he collected 85 points in 126 games at Princeton, which ranks 26th all-time at Princeton. An honorable mention All-Ivy as a senior, Kramer is attending his first prospect camp with his hometown team, the Minnesota Wild, and it gets underway on July 10.

Rising junior Michael Sdao, the lone drafted Princeton player, is missing the Ottawa Senators' camp as he rehabs from offseason surgery. He attended the Ottawa camp in each of the last two seasons and the Minnesota Wild camp the one before. Additionally, sophomore Andrew Ammon was invited to the Washington Capitals' camp, but is also unable to compete as he rehabs from an injury.
