Tigers Look to Build on Win

The Princeton University men’s ice hockey team got what it so desperately needed Saturday — goals and a win.

The Tigers found the back of the net three times to snap a three-game losing streak with a 3-1 win in the Denver Cup over a Providence team that was receiving votes in the national poll.

”We have to rally off our last win,” said PU head coach Bob Prier, whose team improved to 2-6-1. “They played with more instincts. They played a little looser. We have a collection of young men that want to win and want to win so bad that maybe they’re gripping a little tight.
