Easily recognizable by his trademark moustache wherever he may
go, George Parros prefers to stay in Southern California
during the summer, spending time at home in Hermosa Beach with his
wife of nearly one year, Tiffany.
There he is able to unwind from a season full of hard hits and
fights as Anaheim’s top enforcer. After dropping the gloves
at least 20 times for a third straight season and enduring a few
injuries (notably a right hand laceration that caused him to miss
10 games) during the 2009-10 campaign, relaxing on the beach and
partaking in a little volleyball serves as Parros’ perfect
remedy.
About to enter his fifth season with the Ducks, Parros took a few
minutes in between training Friday morning to talk about what he
has been up to and his eagerness for training camp to start in
September.
