Princeton Places 14 on All-Academic Team

PRINCETON - The Princeton men's hockey team placed 14 of its members on the 2009-10 ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team as announced by the league on Wednesday. Six players earned All-Academic honors for the third time in their careers.

Now graduated seniors Dan Bartlett, Cam MacIntyre and Brad Schroeder were All-Academic honorees as sophomore, juniors and seniors. Freshmen were not eligible for the award during their rookie season. Rising seniors Taylor Fedun, Matt Godlewski and Cam Ritchie also earned honors for the third times in their careers.

Graduated goaltender Zane Kalemba earned his second honor along with rising senior Sam Sabky. The other six honorees all earned recognition for the first time.

Players are eligible for the All-Academic team if they earn a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or have a GPA over 3.00 over the past three semesters.
