San Jose Returns Moore to Worcester
SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks
Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced
today that the club has assigned former Princeton defensemanMike
Moore to the Worcester Sharks, the team’s top
development affiliate
Moore has played in three games for San Jose registering
one goal and five penalty minutes. He made his NHL debut on Oct. 19
against the Carolina Hurricanes and scored his first career NHL
goal on Nov. 17 at Colorado. In five games with Worcester this
season, he has three points (two goals, one assist).
Moore spent the last three seasons with Worcester,
amassing 40 points (8-32=40) and 230 penalty minutes in 143
games.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound native of Calgary, Alberta was
signed by San Jose as a free agent on April 8, 2008.
