Moore Nets First NHL Goal (with Video)

DENVER - Former Princeton standout Mike Moore scored his first
National Hockey League (NHL) goal; however, the Colorado Avalanche
rallied from a two-goal deficit to defeat the San Jose Sharks 4-3
in overtime Wednesday.
Moore, who was called up before the game from Worcester of the
American Hockey League, netted his first NHL goal on a shot that
trickled through the pads of Avalanche goaltender Peter Budaj in
the second period, giving San Jose a 3-1 lead.
Moore, who saw nine minutes, 31 seconds of ice time, scored on
his only shot in the game. He finished with a plus-1 rating.
