Goeckner-Zoeller Headed to France
Grant Goeckner-Zoeller, a former Princeton standout, has signed a contract for the 2010-11 season with Neuilly-sur-Marne (France), the team announced Friday.
Goeckner-Zoeller, a native of Los Angeles, California, played the last two seasons with Rio Grande Valley of the Central Hockey League (CHL). He tallied 48 goals and 64 assists in 113 games over two campaigns, including registering 68 points, including 27 goals, in 64 games during the 2009-10 season.
A four-year standout with Princeton (2003-07), Goeckner-Zoeller notched 34 goals and 73 assists in 125 collegiate contests. His top offensive campaign game in his sophomore year when he amassed 32 points (six goals) in 30 games.
