Halpern Hopes to be an Ace for Habs

Jeff Halpern scored a hole-in-one at the Canadiens' golf tournament Thursday and he's hoping it's an omen of good things to come.
"It doesn't mean much as far as hockey's concerned but it could be auspicious," Halpern said Friday after undergoing a physical and fitness testing on the opening day of the Canadiens' training in Brossard.
The hole-in-one was a first for the 34-year-old Halpern, who was the last player signed by the Canadiens in the off-season.
