PRINCETON - The Princeton men's hockey team opens the ECAC postseason this weekend when it hosts ECAC and Ivy rival Harvard for a best-of-three first-round series at Hobey Baker Rink.

Princeton claimed the eighth spot in the final ECAC standings and the final home ice playoff spot with a win in its regular season finale over Brown last Saturday, coupled with Harvard's loss at St. Lawrence. The Tigers made up seven points in the league standings over the final five weeks of the regular season to climb into a home ice spot.

The Tigers split their games last weekend for the second consecutive weekend, losing on Friday to Yale 7-4 and defeating Brown on Saturday by a 7-3 score. Princeton has seen seven goals in each of its last three games, scoring seven in wins over Rensselaer and Brown, and allowing seven to Yale. The Tigers have 18 goals in the three-game stretch, its highest scoring stretch this season.
