INCH Ranks Nation's Top Recruits
INCH kicks off two weeks of 2009-10 preview coverage with a look at the top incoming freshmen from across college hockey. INCH's Recruiting Rankings are a popular feature-and will likely generate plenty of debate among readers. We break down the top players by position and the top classes, according to our experts.
From a team perspective, Harvard (No. 5), RPI (No. 9), Cornell (No. 13) and Yale (No. 14) rank among the nation's top 15 recruiting classes.
Among the top incoming freshmen as rated by INCH are forwards Louis Leblanc of Harvard (No. 1), Andrew Miller of Yale (No. 7), Jerry D'Amigo of RPI (No. 9), and Brandon Pirri of RPI (No. 12). Nick D'Agostino of Cornell ranks No. 13 among incoming freshman defenseman, and the goaltending trio of Keith Kincaid of Union (No. 5), Mathieu Cadieux of Quinnipiac (No. 8) and Mike Condon of Princeton (No. 10) ranks among the nation's top recruits.
