PRINCETON TOWNSHIP -- Navigating the thorny terrain of
the ECAC Tournament and emerging with its first league championship
since 1998 was enough for the Princeton University men's hockey
team last season.
"Being only the second team at Princeton to win the ECACs, we
definitely looked at it as an accomplishment just to get to the
NCAA Tournament," senior forward Brett Wilson said. "This year we
have a different mindset. We are going to win some games and not
just be there for one day. Everything is much more
business-like."
Ranked 10th in the latest USCHO.com Division I poll and armed with
one of the nation's 10 at-large bids, the Tigers will make their
third NCAA appearance at 9 tonight against No. 8 Minnesota-Duluth
(21-12-8) in the West Regional at Mariucci Arena in Minneapolis.
