academic institute. It also has a pretty good hockey program too,
which is quietly rising among the top teams in the nation.
The Tigers were one of the big surprises in college hockey last
season, winning 16 of their last 21 games to finish second in the
ECAC standings during the regular season. Eventually, they would go

in the first round of the NCAA tournament. But who could blame
them? It was only their second appearance in the program’s
105-year history.

caught by Cornell recently and are on the precipice of making their
second straight trip back to the NCAA tournament. So what will be
the key for the Tigers coming down the stretch and heading into the
playoffs?
