Princeton Announces 2009-10 Schedule
PRINCETON -- The Princeton men's hockey team today announced its finalized 2009-10 schedule. The Tigers will play 31 regular-season games, highlighted by a trip to the Florida College Classic in late December and a televised game on ESPNU in January.

The Tigers open the season with a pair of exhibition games the
weekend of Oct. 23-25 and kick off the regular season a week later
with non-league games at home against Brown and Yale. Princeton is
at home the first three weeks of the season as league games against
St. Lawrence, Clarkson, Dartmouth and Harvard appear on the
schedule.
Princeton's first road games of the season come the weekend before
Thanksgiving with a trip to Cornell and Colgate and the Tigers play
at Quinnipiac the night before the Thanksgiving holiday. Princeton
closes the first half of the season on the road at Brown and Yale,
followed by a two-game series at UMass-Lowell the weekend of Dec.
11-12.
The Tigers return to action after the holiday break on Dec. 29-30
at the Florida College Classic in Estero, Fla. The Tigers will meet
Maine in the first game and either Colorado College or Cornell the
following day. The Tigers then return to campus for games against
Quinnipiac, Union and Rensselaer before the exam break. The game
against RPI is scheduled for Sun., Jan. 10 at 3 p.m. and will be
televised live on ESPNU, marking the third straight season that a
Tiger game from Baker Rink will appear on the network.
Princeton is then off for 15 days while the players take final
exams before returning to action on Jan. 25 against Connecticut in
non-league play. Princeton then has league games the five weekends
as it heads to the postseason. Three of those four weekends are on
the road and the Tigers conclude the regular season at home the
weekend of Feb. 26-27 against Yale and Brown.
