STOCKTON - Daryl Marcoux was contacted by more than a dozen teams
after the Fresno Falcons ceased operations. And among those calls
was the one he really wanted to answer.
Former Falcons coach Matt Thomas had come to Stockton and wanted
Marcoux to join him. Two seasons earlier, Thomas showed faith in
Marcoux when the young defenseman was starting his career and has
been his coach ever since.
"It was easy when I found out Matt got the job," Marcoux said.
