Princeton to Host Union in Quarterfinals
The Princeton men’s hockey team will host Union this
weekend in an ECAC quarterfinal series at Hobey Baker Rink. The
third-seeded Tigers earned a first-round playoff bye by virtue of
their top-four league finish, while Union advanced to the
quarterfinals by sweeping Clarkson in the first round.
The games will be played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at
7 p.m. Tickets for the first two games are on sale now at the
Jadwin Gym ticket office. Individual game tickets are $12 for
adults and $6 for children 12 and under when purchased in advance.
All tickets will cost $12 when purchased on game days. Students of
Princeton and Union can purchase tickets to the games for $6 either
in advance or at the door. Tickets for Sunday’s game will
only be available at the box office prior to the game if it is
necessary. Call (609) 258-4TIX to get your tickets today.
The games will air live on GoPrincetonTigers.com and will be video
streamed as part of the ECAC Playoff package on B2 Networks.
Princeton and Union split their regular-season series with each
team winning in the other team’s building. The two have never
met in a postseason series, but played a single first-round playoff
game in Princeton in 1995. The game was won by the Tigers 5-2.
