Five Questions with Kevin Westgarth

The Dossier: Two punches. Monarchs forward Kevin Westgarth, a 6-foot-5, 247-pounder, needed only a left hook and right uppercut to floor Jeff Szwez of the Philadelphia Phantoms.

The Nov. 7 bout in Manchester, viewed almost 9,000 times on YouTube, sent a message throughout the American Hockey League: Don't mess with the Princeton pugilist.

The 24-year-old Westgarth, who earned a psychology degree from Princeton, has become a fan favorite in Manchester with his hair-flying, fist-pounding battles. In his first dozen games this season, Westgarth amassed a team-leading 55 penalty minutes with one assist.
