Feature: Parros Pulls No Punches
The following article featuring former Princeton standout George Parros appeared December 17 on the National Hockey League Players Association (NHLPA) Web site.
He might be one of the top enforcers in the National Hockey
League, but George Parros is proving he's anything but a
one-dimensional player.
Having already exceeded his goal, assist and point totals from
last season, Parros, who stands 6'5" and weighs in at 230 pounds,
has given the Anaheim Ducks more than just a solid physical
presence in 2008-09.
The right winger, who launched his NHL career with the Los Angeles
Kings in 2005-06, has provided the Western Conference club with
plenty of punch this season, teaming with Bobby Ryan and Ryan
Carter to form one of the game's most reliable fourth lines.
