Princeton Announces Class of 2012

The Princeton men's hockey team has announced its incoming class
that will join the team for the upcoming season. The group of five
players will join the defending ECAC Hockey and Ivy League champion
Tigers when the 2008-09 season commences in October.
The class is comprised of four forwards: Marc Hagel (Hamilton,
Ont.), Josh Levine (Bloomington, Minn.), Scott McNeill (Edmonton,
Alb) and Brodie Zuk (Saskatoon, Sask.); along with defenseman
Derrick Pallis (Medfield, Mass.).
25 - Marc Hagel
Forward • 5-11/190

Hamilton, Ont. • Hamilton Red Wings (OPJHL)
Hagel will follow the path of his older brother Kyle, who completed
his collegiate playing career at Princeton in April. Hagel has
played the last three seasons for the Hamilton Red Wings in the
OPJHL and was sixth in the league in scoring last season with 82
points in 49 games. He served as his team's captain and was named
the team's Most Valuable Player.
10 - Josh Levine

Bloomington, Minn. • Green Bay Gamblers (USHL)
Levine comes to Princeton following one season in the USHL with
Green Bay. Prior to that he served as the team captain of his high
school team at Bloomington Jefferson. Levine appeared in 58 games
last season in Green Bay.
23 - Scott McNeill
Forward • 6-1/170 • Shoots Left
Edmonton, Alb. • Grande Prairie Storm (AJHL)
McNeill is a former midget teammate of rising sophomores Taylor
Fedun and Cam Ritchie. McNeill served as the captain of the Grande
Prairie Storm last season as he tallied 27 points in 34 games and
won his team's award as the most dedicated player. It was his third
season in Grande Prairie. He recorded 55 and 20 points in the
previous two seasons.
5 - Derrick Pallis
Defense • 6-1/175 • Shoots Left
Medfield, Mass. • Noble and Greenough
Pallis was an All-New England and All-ISL defenseman at Noble
and Greenough. He had 42 points in 42 games last season to lead
defensemen on his team in scoring.
13 - Brodie Zuk
Forward • 5-9/180 • Shoots Left
Saskatoon, Sask. • Nanaimo Clippers (BCHL)
Zuk has played three years of junior hockey, most recently serving as an assistant captain with the Nanaimo Clippers of the BCHL. He tallied 79 points in 73 games, including 34 goals last season and was named the team's top two-way player. Zuk also played junior seasons in Marquette (NAHL) and Kindersley (SJHL).
