PRINCETON BOROUGH -- Princeton University men's ice hockey? The
Frozen Four? National championship?
The idea of those phrases being used in the same sentence would
have been downright laughable less than a year ago. Many no doubt
feel it still is. But if you believe goalie Zane Kalemba, it may
not be such a far-fetched idea.
"Our ultimate goal is to win the national championship," Kalemba said. "You've first got to get to the Frozen Four. We showed last year that we could outplay North Dakota (in the NCAA Tournament) for a little bit. We return a lot of the same guys. We think we can compete with the top teams in the country. If we get to Washington, D.C., for the Frozen Four this year, anything can happen."
