Gadowsky is INCH's Choice as Coach of Year

The following article appeared April 1 on the Inside College Hockey Web site.

The Frozen Four field has been established and 55 teams have seen their seasons come to an end. That doesn't mean that the year was a total bust. Take Princeton, for example. The Tigers were picked to finish eighth in ECAC Hockey preseason polls and finished second, won the league tournament, and made the second NCAA Tournament appearance in program history.

Throughout the week we'll reveal our choices for our annual awards, beginning with the INCH Coach of the Year, Princeton's Guy Gadowsky.

Through the first three years of Gadowsky's head coaching tenure at Princeton, there were sure signs that the program was on the rise. Just how high it would rise, and how quickly, were the unknowns. The Tigers took huge steps forward this season and recently wrapped up the best year in program history.
